How is a project carried out at Ciao?
At Ciao, managing projects is what we do every day! For our clients, it’s often a unique opportunity to explore new possibilities. That’s why we take the lead, guiding them through every step of the process with all the support and expertise they need.

Every project at Ciao goes through four major phases, each requiring client approval at critical milestones.

Service proposal
We begin with a detailed service proposal, including the development of a project brief, planning, and a signed contract. This ensures the project objectives are clearly defined and aligned with clients' expectations.

User experience and interface design
Once the initial proposal is approved, we move on to the design phase. This includes creating the site or app structure (UX) and designing the interface (UI). During this phase, we regularly present our progress to clients for feedback and approvals.

Development
Once the design has been approved, the next step is development. This phase involves technical analysis, coding, quality control, and integrating all components. At the end of this phase, clients review and approve the development work.

Go live
The final phase involves preparing for launch. This includes creating a maintenance plan and managing hosting. A final client approval ensures that the project meets all expectations before it goes live to the public.

The Agile approach: The key to managing your development budget
In most development projects, client needs evolve—and that’s perfectly normal! Traditional fixed-price models often lead to increased costs for every change.
The Agile approach offers a flexible solution. Instead of locking in features or scope, the Agile method sets a fixed budget for the project while allowing room for evolving priorities. Work is divided into 2- to 4-week sprints, during which clients choose which features to develop. You don’t have to decide everything all at once! For example, if your budget covers 10 sprints, we prioritize features based on your incremental goals.
The advantage: you can always change your mind along the way. And if we're quicker than expected, we can deliver more features!
